Abstract By using the principle of behavioral geography, two actual investigations were conducted on journey activity of inhabitants of Wuhu City. On the base of analysing and systematizing the investigative data, the author studied various manifestations and their influential factors of psychological behaviour during inhabitants' journey of Wuhu City. The author not only put forward thoushts and countermeasures that could settle the problem of passenger traffic transportation in cities, but also provided reference basis for strengthening traffic planning, construction and management of cities.
